About image

Hello, I’m an Interaction Designer with a breadth of professional experience spanning design strategy, design research, interactive product design, interface design and service design.

I started out studying Product Design at the Glasgow School of Art, where I was awarded the Newbury Medal for outstanding achievement in the 2001 graduation year. I went on to work in design consultancies in Australia and The Netherlands, on a variety of projects from design strategy for new drink lines to educational toys for young children.

I returned to college in 2003, studying an MA in Interaction Design at the Royal College of Art. Creating projects for urban spaces in London and in California, working for Intel Research Berkeley. Developing interactive objects that engaged passers-by in moments of intrigue, surprise, play and discussion.

Now based in London, where I've worked at Nokia Design and INQ Mobile, leading projects both in-house and with external agencies. I'm currently an Interaction Designer in Google's Android team, working on the design and delivery of the next generation of the Android OS and applications, including close integration of Google services.
